Astronomical August Wrap-Up
August wrap-up, GASP! September already? Where is the year going? I’m not prepared for it to be September already. It feels like Christmas is right around the corner, and after Christmas, I can just go lie in my grave cause then I’ll probably be 80 already and I’ll die.
TIME IS MOVING TOO FAST.
Anyway, existential dread aside here is a small wrap-up of all my August reads.
A Spark of White Fire
I started with this one in July, anticipating that I would only finish in August. I WAS WRONG. So technically I finished this book on the 30th of July. But it still counts. Lol.

A House of Rage and Sorrow
Obviously I had to read the sequel to A Spark of White Fire IMMEDIATELY. I was actually part of a blog tour for this book hosted by Caffeine Book Tours. It was a lot of fun and I cannot wait for the third book in the series.

Ignite the Stars
I really enjoyed the character growth in this one. It was definitely a character-driven story set against a very relevant backstory. I highly recommend Ignite the Stars.

Eclipse the Skies
The end of the Ignite the Stars duology absolutely KILLED me. I’m still a sobbing mess, don’t speak to me.

And that’s my reading month in a nutshell! The month would have been more productive if I hadn’t gotten so busy in the middle of August, but that’s life for you. It’s not always predictable. What did you read in August?
I read some good books in August but my favorite was Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center ♥
Looks like you had a good month. These are all new books to me!
