End of the Year Book Tag
Hi friends! Happy December! The end of the year is finally upon us, so I’ve decided to do the End of the Year Book Tag! I saw this tag over on Book Browsing Blog and just knew I had to do it. All credit goes to the original creator Ariel Bisset! Let’s hop in!

1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
I tend to either finish books or DNF them. Although I have started Wolfsong by T.J Klune and just quietly put it down. I don’t think I will pick it back up, I’m not sure if I enjoyed it enough. I might just read a few more pages and then decided to DNF it officially.
2. Do you have an autumnal (summer) book to transition into the end of the year?
The original prompt says autumnal, but since South Africa only has two seasons (less hot and fucking hot) I changed it to summer. I’m not usually a seasonal reader so I don’t have any summer reads planned. I do still want to get to Once and Future Witches. The cover seems very bright and colourful, as summer should be. So I’ll go with that.
3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Lightbringer by Claire Legrand. I still have to read Kingsbane, so I am still technically waiting to get to Lightbringer. I have an eARC of Lightbringer and I should have gotten to it way sooner, but life often gets in the way.
4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron
Legendborn by Tracy Deonn
Rules for Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall
5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
I’m hoping that Once and Future Witches surprises me, and I’m hoping that Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas surprises me.
6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?
Yes! This is very exciting. My best book friend and I are starting a reading challenge for 2021! We’re basically going to try to read less. A blog post about this challenge is coming soon but in the meantime, you can check out the Twitter page!
There you have it! I tag anyone who wants to take part in this tag, just make sure to link back to the original creator.

Your book list is basically mine! I’d love to hear what you think of Legendborn. I bought the kindle version the other day but haven’t started yet.
I enjoyed Cinderella Is Dead and if you read it I hope you do too. I may take part in this tag.
Wow – I love this tag and your choice of books! I hope Once and Future Witches and Cemetery Boys make it to your favorites list 🙂
This is such a fun post idea!
Nice choices. I enjoyed Rules for Vanishing. I hope you do too. I have Once and Future Witches but I won’t be getting to it this year.
Fun tag. Read Less next year? Intrigued to see what that is about.
I’m hoping to read Legendborn this month, it’s my end-of-year book!
